Job Description:

Job Summary: responsible for the development of price proposals/cost volumes for Federal government proposals The Pricing Analyst will support Competitive Pricing Analyses in support of capture efforts.
Primary Tasks:
1. Creates complex Bill of Material spreadsheets, production labor hour lists, and pricing matrix for price/cost proposals.2. Researenes and gathers aB vendor material and service quotes and incorporates them into the proposal pricing sheet.3. Read and understand advanced mechanical drawings, including weld and electrical symbols.4. Consults with management on material and labor pricing strategies.5. Ensures price proposals adhere to solicitation requirements in content and format.
6. Acts as the technical representative for the BOM and pricing strategies of the proposal.
7. Provides Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on manufacturing process methodology.8. Provides Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on labor cost application.9. Reviews and annotates all items in solicitations, drawings, and prints that will affect the pricing.
10. Assists with proposal preparation and packaging for delivery.
11. Reviews pricing calculations to assure they are calculating properly.12. Contributes pricing data to executive reports regarding business development.13. Provides input to and/or develops pricing, writing a narrative, or other requirements of providing a compliant response.14. Assists Capture Manager with Price-to-Win determination inputs.
15. Provides reports on maintenance, safety, and quality issues.
16. All other duties assigned.
Abilities and Skills:
--- Advanced spreadsheet skills to include pivot tables, array formulas, and circular references--- Excellent computation skills--- Excellent research skills (including pricing and material availability.--- Excellent organizational skills--- Ability to read and understand mechanical prints and drawings.--- Computer literacy; must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.--- Ability to grasp complex ideas and learn quickly.--- Ability to change productively and to handle tasks as assigned.
Education and Experience:
--- Bachelor's Degree in a related field OR--- At least five (5) years of experience in a fiscal field and/ or in government contracting.--- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations and the Code of Federal Regulations.
