RN in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74136! Job Title: Registered Nurse I
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Duration: Direct Hire
Shift: NOC – 7p to 7a Hours per Shift: 12 hours (3-12 hour days)
Experience: 1 year of Critical Care Nursing experience preferred;
Strong PCU backgrounds highly preferred; Solid Med-Surg experience
may be considered. License: Valid multi-state or state Registered
Nurse License. Certifications: None specified. Must-Have: Working
knowledge of general disease state management processes,
bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways. Description: The
Registered Nurse I assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates
nursing care. Utilizes the nursing process in accordance with
hospital standards and unit policies/procedures. Documents steps of
the nursing process while utilizing proper medical terminology.
Addresses problems and progress toward goals effectively.
Facilitates patient discharge through timely, appropriate referrals
and utilization of patient education resources. Considers patient
age and cultural/psychosocial factors in all aspects of care.
Collaborates with other disciplines as appropriate to ensure
comprehensive patient care. Supports unit and hospital goals
through performance improvement and educational activities. Attends
in-services and meets unit education standards. Completes variance
reports as necessary. Exerts independent judgment in making
decisions from diversified alternatives. Coordinates activities of
others and leads in the same work performed. Works directly with
patients and/or customers. Interacts with internal and external
customers via telephone or face-to-face. Works frequently with
healthcare professionals and staff at various organizational
