Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Edmond, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,140 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Edmond, Oklahoma, 73034! Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year License: Current RN License from the State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License Certifications: Current Basic Life Support and ACLS Must-Have: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program Description: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients. Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; notes all changes in physician orders for assigned patients. Assists physicians in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment. Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients, observes the physiological manifestations of patients, and intervenes when necessary. Administers medications as prescribed. Initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products. Delivers patient care competently. Interacts with families and patients in sharing care plans while in the hospital and at the time of discharge. Informs patients and families of hospital procedures. Makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. Delegates tasks to support staff.
