Hastings Hospital Region: Cherokee Nation Department: Respiratory Therapy Engagement Type: Contract Contract Duration: March 23, 2026 – June 27, 2026 Shift: 12 Hours | 3 Days per Week Position Summary W. W. Hastings Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join the Respiratory Therapy team on a contract basis. The Respiratory Therapist will assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders while working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Key Responsibilities - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care plans. - Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator support. - Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and related respiratory equipment. - Perform diagnostic testing such as arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests, and pulse oximetry. - Respond to emergency situations including code blue and rapid response calls. - Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management. - Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies. - Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. Required Qualifications - Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential. - Current state licensure (as applicable). - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required). - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred. - Minimum 06 months of recent clinical respiratory therapy experience (acute care preferred). 12hr night shifts, 7p-7a/nNBRC required/nOklahoma Resp License required/nBLS, ACLS, PALS required- AHA/nNRP required/nCerner Charting/nMin 6 months of experience req. /nMust have peds exp. /nNeonates to adults, acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems About Encode INC At Encode, we empower organizations and individuals through innovative, human-centric workforce and technology solutions.
