Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support
student development in an educational setting located in Fort
Smith, Arkansas. This role involves providing therapeutic services
that enhance students ability to participate fully in their school
environment. Key Responsibilities: Assess and develop
individualized treatment plans for students with diverse
occupational therapy needs. Implement evidence-based interventions
to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living
activities within the school setting. Collaborate with educators,
parents, and other professionals to foster an inclusive and
supportive learning environment. Document progress and adjust
treatment plans as needed to maximize student outcomes. Participate
in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary care plans.
Desired Qualifications and Experience: Current state licensure as
an Occupational Therapist. Experience working with school-aged
children in educational or clinical settings. Strong understanding
of pediatric developmental milestones and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Willingness and
ability to travel as required to multiple school locations.
