Job Title: Remote Commercial Drywall Estimator Location: Remote (U.S. Based) Salary: $90,000 per year Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary We are currently seeking a Remote Commercial Drywall Estimator with experience in On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and Quick Bid software. This position plays a vital role in accurately preparing detailed estimates for commercial drywall projects, ensuring competitiveness and profitability while working independently from a remote environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate material and labor cost estimates for commercial drywall, metal framing, insulation, and acoustical ceiling systems Utilize On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid to perform digital takeoffs and generate complete bid proposals Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing and project information Track and manage bids from initial inquiry through project award Maintain and update historical cost databases and pricing tools Attend virtual meetings and participate in bid reviews when necessary Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial drywall estimator Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and Quick Bid software is required Solid knowledge of drywall, metal stud framing, insulation, and acoustic ceiling systems Strong mathematical and analytical skills Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $90,000/year Flexible remote work schedule Paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick days) Health, dental, and vision insurance options 401(k) with employer match Ongoing training and development opportunities To Apply: Submit your resume along with a brief cover letter highlighting your experience in drywall estimating and familiarity with OST and Quick Bid.
