Job Description:
he Maintenance Mechanic position requires a skilled maintenance
mechanic to inspect and repair material handling equipment and
minor building repairs. Will follow corporate and site-specific
Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when
observed. In addition, the candidate will observe all company
safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

Requirements:
--- Should have excellent written and verbal communication
skills.
--- Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified
deadlines.
--- Sound understanding of using all electrical testing and repair
of Material Handling equipment.
--- Ability to use efficiently various power and hand tools.
--- Ability to operate a forklift.
--- Should follow oral or written instructions.
--- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative
working relationships.
--- High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of
experience and education
--- Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long
periods of time.
Responsibilities:
--- Regular inspection of all electrical and power units of a
facility.
--- Detecting malfunctions and defects in electrical systems and
vehicle engines and repairing the same.
--- Ensuring the compliance of all corporate policies and the
Occupational Safety and health administration rules (OSHA) while
conducting work functions.
--- Maintaining a record of service cycles and other maintenance
activities conducted.
--- Efficiently managing time and completing all tasks assigned by
the supervisory authority.
--- Reporting damages, defects and other issues pertaining to
electrical units to the supervising manager.
--- Placing orders for spare and replacement parts and completing
all necessary documentation for the same.
--- Appropriately using and handling all electrical repair and
testing tools and equipment.
--- Light building maintenance repairs. Changing bulbs, painting,
caulking, etc.
--- Daily inventory counts
--- Moving equipment from building to another building
--- Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices
and report noncompliance when observed.
--- Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as
appropriate.
--- Other duties as assigned.
Pay Rate $ 25 - $32 Depending on experience
