    Responsibilities
    
    
    • Ensure all equipment needed for procedures is disinfected, assembled, and functioning properly
    • Prepare patients for their surgery, arrange medical equipment and assist doctors during surgical procedures
    • Open supplies and instruments utilizing the aseptic technique
    • Prepare the operating room for pre-assigned cases using physician preference
    • Sterilize equipment and provide surgeons instruments upon their request during surgical procedures
    • Order, replenish, and take inventory of supplies and other surgical supplies as needed
      Qualifications
      
      Job Requirements: -
      • High School Diploma or equivalent
      • Possess an accredited Surgical Technologist Certification OR be willing and eligible to obtain it within the first six months of employment
      • Active BLS certification
      • 1-year of Labor and Delivery Surgical Technologist experience -
