POSITION SUMMARY:
The infrastructure support professional provides customer service
to colleagues throughout Targa Resources in the optimal use of end
user computing devices, including workstation hardware, laptop
operating systems, copiers & printers, unified communication &
audio-visual technology; data network connectivity hardware &
services, wireless access points, firewalls, & telecommunications;
server hardware, storage, server operating systems & cloud
infrastructure services; and datacenters. Our customers include
operations technology (OT), systems & processes, data analytics,
cybersecurity, and corporate functions within corporate, gathering
& processing, and logistics & transportation.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support, administer, troubleshoot, architect and/or supervise
technologies and staff within the current infrastructure
portfolio/department, as described in the position summary.
- Aid customers on use of technology portfolio, engage with
customers to gather basic troubleshooting information, assist users
in using technologies that are already in place, and provide basic
troubleshooting & support using documented cases and procedures. -
Provide tier 1 support.
- Install technology solutions, manage systems access, monitor
system performance, track system utilization, conduct performance
tuning, and deploy new feature updates.
- Monitor systems performance, conduct performance tuning,
analyze complex issues, remediate system impaired or down events,
deploy fixes of existing technologies, and manage vendor
escalation. - Provide tier 2 & 3 support. MINIMUM ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in M.I.S., Computer Science, Information
Security, or related degrees / years of experience.
- 5+ years of experience SCORM content development skills,
utilizing Articulate 360 and/or Adobe Captivate
- 5 years of experience with Learning Management System (LMS)
platforms
- 5 years of experience developing IT systems
- Ability to apply technical troubleshooting approaches, tools
and techniques, and ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve
technical (hardware, software, application or operational)
problems.
- Ability to assess the impact of a solution
installation/migration and implement the solution while minimizing
the impact to production business systems.
- Define standards documentation and processes and audit computer
technology system configurations against those standards.
- Utilize processes, tools, and guidelines for overseeing and
optimizing the costs and revenues for IT services, including
analysis and forecasting of financial impact.
- Establish and maintain healthy working relationships with
customers, business partners, and vendors.
- Effective project management strategies and tactics and ability
to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring
efficient utilization of technology, capital, and resources to
achieve project objectives.
- Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a
variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and
collaborative manner.
- Possess emotional intelligence and conflict management
capabilities.
- Understand the importance of insightful listening,
communicating, and providing information and messages in a way that
produces clarity and impact.
- Understand the importance of being accountable and the ability
to focus on those activities that have the greatest impact on
meeting work commitments.
- Effective judgement during the decision-making process and
ownership of each situation.
- Understand the necessity for continuous personal growth;
ability to gauge one's strengths, limitations and interests, and

Ability to see outside of just the role currently in.
- Ability to travel as required for specific role.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
- Regular and reliable attendance. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience performing IT services in an energy sector
corporation.
