  • Analyze market conditions, develop an annual business plan and coordinate its implementation.
  • Define and grow new markets for emerging product technologies.
  • Identify customer needs, propose solutions and close orders for assigned products.
  • Other duties as assigned.Requirements:
    • Responsible for developing and implementing the Industrial Control portion of the annual business plan in junction with Rockwell Automation and Rexel Leadership. Responsible for achieving the Industrial Control sales goals identified in the annual planning process.
    • Responsible for supporting multiple locations as required.
    • Focal point for all communication between Rockwell Automation and Rexel on Industrial Control Products.
    • Be a technical resource for the customer and Rexel personnel for Industrial Control.
    • Responsible for launching new Industrial Control Products to Rexel sales personnel. This includes product training, competency with demo equipment, and target account identification with sales personnel.
    • Actively promote Industrial Control participation on local trade shows, customer seminars and other local Rexel promotions as a way to increase customer awareness of Rockwell Automation Industrial Control capabilities.
    • Ensure the general sales force (inside and outside) has a base level of Industrial Control expertise necessary to support daily sales activity. Implement local training programs to address areas of need.
    • Establish appropriate metrics to track the local success of Industrial Control launches and promotional programs to meet local sales objectives. Take corrective action when necessary to maximize effectiveness.
    • Provide feedback Rockwell Automation Industrial Control Area Managers regarding technical and commercial information, new products, promotions, competition and assistance when required.Marketing & Sales Skills
      • Strong Presentation skills in group and individual situations.
      • Able to promote the value-add of Rockwell Automation Industrial Control Products in competitive situations.
      • Strong arbitration skills to effectively listen, communicate, and gain consensus'.
      • Ability to understand market conditions, competitive forces, determine market share, and identify opportunities for growth.
      • Ability to define and grow new markets for emerging product technologies.Qualifications:
        • A four-year engineering or technical degree or appropriate experience.
        • Ability to identify and demonstrate technology solutions for customer applications.
        • Have core competency for the current technology as it relates to the Rockwell Automation-Standard & Industrial Control Products.
        • Ability to manage a project including pull-through business.
        • Willingness and desire to participate in ongoing training to maintain technical competency in their product and complementary product areas.
        • Valid driver's license for Region of business operation with a good driving record.Our Benefits Include:
