Date: May 11, 2021Location: Broken Arrow, OK, US, 74012Company: FlightSafety InternationalRequisition 25198JOB DUTIESManage the Instrument Assembly group, responsible for the assembly, wiring and test of new instruments. Responsible for insuring adequate site support to include troubleshooting and instrument repair.Generate bids, based on historical data, for projects.Generate monthly man load report showing resources vs. production schedule.Order and maintain tools and test equipment.Review and approve timesheets, travel authorizations, and expense reports.Review and status DR activity using FSI-SIMS database.Participate in meetings affecting and/or involving the department.Overtime and occasional travel are required.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and REQUIREMENTSAssociate's Degree in applicable field and a minimum of 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.PC Literate: Routinely uses Microsoft Windows based programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer to perform day-to-day tasks (timesheets, expense reports and e-mail) and to generate various reports. Uses VoloView and AutoCAD to reference electrical and mechanical drawings.Must have a firm grasp of the concepts involved with troubleshooting microprocessor based systems and performing system level troubleshooting utilizing software programs and utilities.Conversant with programs used in the programming of EPROM, PLD, and PGA programming utilities.PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTSExhibit and practice professional and courteous behavior while interacting with both internal and external customers.Interact within a cooperative environment through beneficial behavior, commitment to common goals, contribution to problem solving, communication of ideas and suggestions, and encouragement to other employees and departments.Accountable for the control and distribution of documents and/or equipment subject to export control restrictions and the security of FSI materials, projects and business information regarding the methods and techniques used in the production and usage of FSI products.Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.Able to adhere to a work schedule including prompt and regular attendance.Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.FlightSafety is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Vet/Disabled.
