SummaryThis position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Oklahoma Region, Office of the Deputy Regional Director-Trust Services, Division of Trust Title and Income, Branch of Land Titles and Records in Muskogee, Oklahoma.NOTE:TRAVEL AND RELOCATION EXPENSES WILL NOT BE AUTHORIZED. Accepts legal instruments for recordation and annotates case files and status records to reflect receipt and due date for response. Maintains administrative records files with established policies, Bureau manuals and directives, and Federal archival standards. Receives calls and responds to inquiries related the Land Titles and Records Office program functions. Qualifications EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for Clerical and Administrative Support Positions, GS-0986).GS-5: I have at least one (1) year of specialized experience or the equivalent, comparable to at least the GS-4 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sector). Specialized experience in a wide range of real estate and probate legal instruments to confirm conformity with existing legal title records; assist with recording legal documents and maintaining land title maintenance system; scans documents into automated system; answers inquiries related to probate data and legal documents for recording.
