Shift: 2nd, Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11:30pm This position will be
responsible for setting up and operating multiple CNC machines. Key
Job Responsibilities /n - Maintain a safe work environment. /n -
Constant heavy lifting throughout the 8-hour shift. /n - Alternate
between machines as needed. /n - Manufactures acceptable quantities
of quality products at or below budgeted production costs to meet
marketplace demand and customer needs. /n - Sets up equipment
operation feed, speed, and dimensions. /n - Follows established
procedures for operating various CNC (computerized numerical
control) manufacturing equipment. /n - Inspects and measures
machined parts to specifications to prepare for production
processing. /n - Resolves issues related to the organization's
production, machinery, and processing. /n - Responsibilities are
within Manufacturing/Operations Function as an experienced CNC
set-up/operator. /n - Perform and document dimension checks
throughout the shift for quality and traceability. /n - Assist with
4D/8D issues when necessary for the quality department. /n - Help
optimize processes and flow through the department. /n /n
Complexity /n - Skilled level position requiring minimal training
to complete routine tasks. Performance of routine tasks with a high
level of detail meeting quality and production requirements. /n -
Contributes directly and indirectly to specific skilled tasks or
processes. /n - Completes assigned tasks with a moderate degree of
supervision. /n - Typically performs skilled or semi-skilled work.
/n - Works with autonomy and ability to make necessary adjustments
to maximize efficiency without jeopardizing safety or quality. /n -
Contribute and help develop clearly defined work instructions and
CLIs for new machinery. /n - Ability to make minor program
adjustments to ensure quality products. /n /n Preferred Areas of
Education, Certifications, and Skills /n - 5 years of CNC work
experience preferred. /n - 1 year of CNC programming experience. /n
- Trade school and/or formal education preferred. /n - Has skills
developed through formal education or work experience. /n -
Performs the full range of established procedures and will
typically be considered skilled through work experience. /n -
Resolves routine issues without supervisory approval. /n - Resolves
complex issues with senior staff or supervisory guidance and
approval. /n - Interpersonal skills with good communication working
in a team environment. /n /n Due to the nature of the operations at
