How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Position Title: Field Service Technician- Cryogenics
Location: Tulsa, OK
JOB DUTIES:
Installs and maintain cryogenic pressure vessels in industrial,
medical, specialty gas and welding markets. Attends in house and
external training to become proficient in working with bulk gas
delivery systems serviced by Airgas Mid South. Performs
installation, preventative maintenance and repairs on bulk gas
delivery systems manufactured or distributed by Airgas Mid South.
Safely operates an Airgas vehicle from facility to customer
locations to complete duties and work orders. Maintains company
vehicle, tools, truck inventory and equipment to be able to respond
to customer needs in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must have general mechanical skills.
* Must have a clean MVR and maintain a valid driver's license and
insurance.
* Must be able to carry a DOT medical card.
* Experience with plumbing and the ability to use hand tools, both
electrical and manual, in a safe manner
* Ability to plan a logical approach to troubleshooting and
repairing equipment.
* Demonstrated ability to work with hands and to work in
mechanically oriented situations following supervisors
instructions.
* Must be able to distinguish between different colors on
electrical schematics drawings.
* Must be able to silver braze, general solder and electrical
welding.
* Ability to routinely lift 25, and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
* Ability to and perform work during prolonged standing (up to 8
hours). Frequent bending, stooping, crouching,
reaching, pushing, pulling and repetitive motion requirements.
* Must be able to work inside and outside in temperatures ranging
from 10 to 110 degrees.
* Must be able to wear protective equipment as needed.
* Must be able to operate a forklift.
* Must have the ability to work independently with little or no
supervision, given proper instructions, and under
pressure to meet deadlines.
* Must be able to work flexible hours to meet customer's needs and
management's expectations.
* Must be willing to be away from home for up to 5 days at a time
(Monday - Friday) for installs and certification
schools.
* Must be able to work in tight, confined dark spaces to run piping
for customer use lines and fill lines and perform
work during prolonged standing (up to 8 hours). Frequent bending,
stooping, crouching,
reaching, pushing, pulling and repetitive motion requirements.
* Must be detail oriented to complete paperwork each day.
* Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different
personalities and backgrounds and communicate with them in a
professional manner
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate or GED equivalent with one to three months
related experience and/or training.
