Job Description Summary of Position: The computer programmer III
--- ERP is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and
supporting custom-built web-based applications as well as providing
necessary support for the infrastructure on which these systems
reside. In addition, this role will be responsible for the care,
support, and customization of the company's Enterprise Resource
Planning system (IFS Cloud.) Essential Functions: To perform this

Correct errors by making appropriate changes and testing and
debugging programs to ensure that the desired results are produced.
Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure
they will produce the desired information and that the instructions
are correct. Develop and write computer programs to store, locate,
and retrieve specific documents, data, and information. Write,
update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to
handle specific jobs such as tracking inventory, storing or
retrieving data or controlling other equipment. Write, analyze,
review, and rewrite programs using the best practices of the
industry applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject
matter, and symbolic logic. Perform or direct revision, repair, or
expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or
adapt to new requirements. Consult with managerial, engineering,
and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify
problems, and suggest changes. Perform systems analysis and
programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer
systems software. Compile and write documentation of program
development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the
coded instructions so others can understand the program. Consult
with and assist application users or system analysts to define and
resolve problems in running computer programs. Provide hardware and
infrastructure support as needed to ensure maximum uptime of
supported applications. Identify and correct root cause of system
failure. Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide
end users. Attend work as outlined in Employee Handbook and/or
specified by your supervisor. Complete other tasks as directed by
supervisor. Comply with government regulations, laws, company
policies and company procedures. Desired Qualifications: Education:
Computer Science / M.I.S. I.S. or related degree Experience: 5
years of related experience or equivalent combination of education
and manufacturing experience desired. Direct experience working
with an enterprise resource planning system (IFS or similar.)
Skills: Ability to develop Windows and Web-based applications using
modern development methodologies. Knowledge of ERP fundamentals and
best practices. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or other
major relational database platforms. Experience with modern web
development technologies. Experience with CSS. Self-motivated.
Effective oral and written communication skills. Network
troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of software installation. Basic
algebra and geometry skills. Interaction with others: Answers to
Director of Information Technology. Must be able to accurately
receive and understand instructions from supervisor to determine if
further instruction is required before attempting to complete the
task assigned. In constant communication with other departments
(Engineering, production, etc,) as well as external customers. It
is essential that the employee is able to work with all employees
of the RAE team and show a spirit of cooperation with others in the
organization. Working Environment: The job is conducted primarily
in a climate-controlled setting, with daily exposure to a
manufacturing environment including moving mechanical parts and
vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet
to moderate. Hybrid work environment available in which work week
would be split between onsite office setting and offsite work from
