Job Description Job Description Gastroenterology Physician Assistant (PA) Location: Goshen, NY Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience Job Overview A financially strong, physician-led, multi-specialty medical group is seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Physician Assistant (PA) to join a collaborative and high-performing GI practice in the Hudson Valley. This position offers long-term stability, professional growth, and the opportunity to practice gastroenterology in both outpatient and hospital-based settings. The Physician Assistant will work in close partnership with board-certified gastroenterologists to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal disorders Provide outpatient clinic visits and inpatient hospital consultations Assist with care coordination for endoscopic and diagnostic procedures Manage follow-up care and chronic GI conditions Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies Prescribe medications and provide patient counseling and education Document all patient encounters accurately in the EMR/EHR Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams Required Qualifications Active Physician Assistant license in New York State DEA certification Minimum 2–3 years of gastroenterology experience Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care Preferred Qualifications Experience with IBD, liver disease, or GI motility disorders Hospital privileges or willingness to obtain Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred) Compensation and Benefits $140 to $180k depending on " years of GI experience and credentials " Competitive base salary with performance incentives Health, dental, and vision insurance Malpractice insurance coverage 401(k) with 6% employer match Life insurance equal to one-time annual salary Paid Time Off: 4 weeks PTO 2 weeks vacation 6 federal holidays CME allowance of $1,500 plus 3 CME days Flexible scheduling supporting work-life balance AI scribe support available Supportive, collegial environment across 35 practice locations Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
