Job Description:
This position is 100% on site and may extend beyond 90 days,
subject to management's decision. Responsibilities Assist in all
activities related to training events and customer meetings.
Perform basic food preparations, including washing, peeling, and
cutting fruit and vegetables, seasoning and slicing meats, and
preparing sauces and salads. Ensure product presentation is
appealing for events or meals. Set up and clean training and dining
areas as per instructions. Ensure all tableware and chafing dishes
are cleaned and sanitized before and after each event. Take
inventory of ingredients, supplies, and equipment, and shop for
additional needs. Load and unload food, tableware, equipment, and
supplies for events. Store clean chafing dishes, tableware,
platters, supplies, and equipment appropriately after events.
Answer guests' food-related questions and address concerns during
events. Training Support Receive and inventory product samples for
training, ensuring proper labeling and storage. Prepare all
printables and equipment/supply needs for training sessions. Set up
training rooms and sampling rooms, ensuring all necessary items are
in place. Organize kitchens for training needs and prepare
products. Ensure beverage and snacking stations are prepped
according to schedule. Reset training rooms and clean all areas
after training concludes. Handle shipping and follow-up with
training attendees. General Support Provide support to the Training
Team and Foodservice Chefs for customer meetings, food shows, and
photo shoots. Manage product shipping for field training and
training material print and ship as ordered by the Training
Manager. Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, and stock
office supplies as needed. Perform miscellaneous computer work,
including inventory control and managing distribution lists and
training rosters. Support food show shipping for major shows.
