Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Tulsa, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,092 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74127! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medicine/Surgery/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required in a hospital setting License: Valid License required at the time of submission Certifications: BLS & ACLS required; NIH preferred Must-Have: - Experience in a hospital setting - Confidence in managing high nurse-to-patient ratios - Proficiency in EPIC charting Description: The position involves working on a general medicine/surgery and telemetry unit during night shifts. Required nurse-to-patient ratios are typically 1:5, with a chance for 1:6-7. Candidates must have 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. Weekend shifts are a requirement, with 3 shifts per 6 weeks. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory, with NIH training preferred. The role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including those with mental health diagnoses. Top diagnoses or procedures include altered mental status, congestive heart failure, stroke, surgical patients, and infections. Staffing and scheduling policies require compliance with attendance and time-off regulations. Flexibility to float within scope to meet facility needs is expected. The candidate must demonstrate a self-rating of 3 or above for cardiac care and basic dysrhythmia training.
