About the Position Job Title: Inpatient Dialysis Registered Nurse
Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2 years of experience
in dialysis nursing or critical care nursing preferred. License:
Registered Nurse with a valid state nursing license.
Certifications: Current BLS certification. Certification in
Nephrology Nursing (CNN) preferred. Acute dialysis certifications
such as Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) are encouraged. Must-Have:
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving
skills. Excellent communication skills for interacting with
patients, families, and the healthcare team. Description: This role
involves managing dialysis procedures. You will monitor patient
health during treatments. Providing support to both patients and
the healthcare team is essential. The schedule includes inpatient
treatments on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. A Tuesday, Thursday,
and Saturday schedule may be considered. The job requires the
ability to stand for long periods. You must be able to lift and
maneuver heavy equipment. Assisting patients with mobility is a key
responsibility. You will work in a noisy, high-stress environment.
Constant monitoring and attention to patient needs are necessary.
The role involves using hemodialysis machines and protocols. You
will supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Nursing Assistants,
Dialysis Technicians, and students. Demonstrated fine motor skills
and hand/eye coordination are required. You must be able to work in
