Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Tulsa, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: - Duration: Direct Hire Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 0 - 6 months related experience License: Valid Provisional / Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RCP) Certifications: Certified / Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) credential; Basic Life Support (BLS) within 2 months of hire Must-Have: ICE Experience, NICU and ER experience preferred Description: The Licensed Respiratory Therapist assesses, implements, and evaluates the delivery of respiratory care services. This includes monitoring and evaluating patient status in accordance with hospital standards and department policies. The therapist provides care to patients in non-critical and critical care areas. Responsibilities include medication administration, humidity and aerosol therapy, medical gas administration, and incentive spirometry. The therapist also performs mechanical ventilation, monitoring patient parameters, and attends to ventilator maintenance. Effective communication with the healthcare team is essential. The therapist establishes relationships with patients and their families utilizing positive customer service skills. Participation in mentoring new personnel and monitoring quality of patient care is expected. Independent judgment is required in planning sequences of operations and making decisions in a complex technical field. The therapist may coordinate activities of others, leading them in the same work performed. This role supports departmental goals through participation in ongoing education and departmental initiatives. Responding to urgent care situations and participating in projects designed to improve patient outcomes are critical components of the position.
