Job Description Respiratory Therapist - Permanent and Full-Time Hire Eligible for up to a $25,000 Sign-On Bonus and $5,000 Relocation Bonus Job Summary: The Respiratory Care Therapist is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating respiratory care services in alignment with hospital standards and department protocols to monitor and enhance patient well-being. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program Valid Oklahoma Provisional/Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RCP) or temporary letter from the Oklahoma Medical Board Certified/Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) through the NBRC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 2 months of hire 0-6 months of related experience Skills and Abilities: Proficient in respiratory care procedures such as medication administration, ventilator management, and intubation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation Responsibilities: Deliver respiratory care interventions considering patient demographics and psychosocial factors Monitor and adjust mechanical ventilation settings Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams Participate in quality improvement initiatives Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma Note: Under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act (OMMA), this position is deemed safety-sensitive, allowing the employer to enforce policies regarding medical marijuana usage in safety-sensitive roles.
