Job Description Job Description Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Duration of Assignment: Permanent Location: Paris, TX 75460 Shift: Nights, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am Sign-on Bonus: Yes Bonus Description: $10,000 sign-on Shift Differentials: $2.00 for evenings $3.00 for nights $2.00 for weekends Relocation Package: Full relocation assistance available Salary Range: Minimum: $44,000 Maximum: $55,000 Start Date: Immediate Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Continuing Education Assistance Job Duties: Provide respiratory care services in accordance with physician’s orders, department policies, and procedures. Administer respiratory treatments and monitor patient progress. Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, including mechanical ventilators and oxygen therapy devices. Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and chest physiotherapy. Educate patients and families about respiratory care needs and equipment use. Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to develop patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Requirements: Licensure: Current Respiratory Therapist Licensure in the state of Texas (RRT or CRT). Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire. Preferred: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. Three or more years of experience in all aspects of respiratory care. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
