Job Description Medical Director Services PC is looking to hire a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) to service a skilled nursing facility in Tulsa, OK. /n Competitive salary offered commensurate with experience! /n Excellent opportunity for growth! /n Duties: /n /n - Responsible for all open wounds in the facility- including cleaning and dressing /n - Responsible for completing admission paperwork /n - Providing advice & support to the Residents and their families /n - Monitoring Residents and administering medication and treatments /n - Documenting Resident care services by charting in Resident & dept. records /n - Protecting Residents & staff by adhering to infection-control policies & protocols /n - Resolving Resident problems & needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies /n - Assuring quality of care by adhering to Facility philosophies & standards of care /n - Maintaining Resident confidence by keeping information confidential /n - Tracking of infection control /n - Monitoring and reporting, including monthly reports /n /n Requirements: /n /n - Current State NP/PA License /n - Long-Term Care Experience Preferred /n - Must be wound and ostomy certified /n - Solid computer skills; working knowledge of MS Office /n - Excellent communication skills /n - Friendly and a team worker /n /n ABOUT US: /n Medical Director Services was founded in 2016 when SNF’s were shifting a focus on value at the same time treating residents with higher level of acuity.
