Job Description:
Agape Care Group seeks a compassionate and experienced Director
of Nursing to lead our nursing department within our hospice and
palliative care services. In this vital role, you will oversee all
aspects of nursing operations, ensuring that our patients receive
the highest standard of care in their most meaningful moments. As a
leader at Agape Care, you will embody our core values of dignity,
comfort, and personalized support, guiding your team to deliver
exceptional care across the Southeast. Develop and implement
nursing department policies and procedures to meet patient care
standards and compliance with regulatory requirements. Lead and
manage the nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and
continuous development. Evaluate nursing operations to ensure
quality of care, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate
with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans
tailored to individual patient needs. Maintain safe and clean
working environments by designing and implementing protocols and
procedures. Prepare and manage budgets, including forecasting,
staffing, and resource allocation. Ensure the nursing staff
delivers palliative and end-of-life care with compassion and
respect for patient autonomy and dignity. Regularly consult with
healthcare professionals and administration to discuss challenges
and improve service delivery and patient outcomes. Excellent
leadership and organizational skills Strong communication and
interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of health care regulations
and hospital management Proficiency in clinical operations and
nursing best practices Empathy and dedication to patient-centered
care Ability to manage budgets and financial resources effectively
