Job Description:
*General Description: *Provide a full range of care, evaluate
and treat acute and minor illnesses or injuries as well as a
variety of primary care of episodic complaints. Treat all patients
with care and concern to ensure good customer service and a good
bedside manner.*Supervision Received: * Medical Doctor of the
Sovereign Medical Solutions*Supervision Exercised: *
None*Supervision Essential Job Functions: ** Evaluate and treat all
patients for acute minor illnesses or injuries and provide care for
primary care of episodic complaints.* Provide preventative
diagnostic and therapeutic care and services for patients of all
ages in the Sovereign Medical Clinic(s).* Make appropriate
referrals for definitive management of secondary and tertiary
medical care as necessary.* Adheres to the State of Oklahoma policy
for licensure and physician sponsorship.* Maintain a competent,
considerate and objective professional relationship with patients
to minimize complaints, dissatisfaction or adverse impact regarding
services.* Participate in continuing medical education as required
by the Oklahoma Board of Licensure.* Treat all patients with
respect and maintain a cooperative attitude with other employees to
facilitate quality patient care.* Responsibility for continuity of
care in the clinic and must give adequate notice for schedule
changes, vacation, sick leave and continuing medical education
leave.* Maintain HIPPA laws and confidentiality practices.* Perform
other duties as assigned.*Minimum Qualifications**Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities: **Preferred* Must be able to read,
understand, apply, and retain knowledge of departmental rules,
regulations, and policies. *Preferred* Must be able to work various
hours as needed including, weekends and holidays. *Preferred* Must
possess and/or be willing to develop and enhance knowledge, skills
and abilities to perform essential job functions.*Education: **GED
Preferred* High School diploma or equivalent. *Advanced Preferred*
Have graduated from an accredited college of nursing and have a RN
license and either a MS or PhD in Nursing that prepares you to
perform an expanded role in the delivery of healthcare.*Education
Note: **Training And Experience: **Preferred Experience* (0 6
months) Must be able to document working in a family practice
environment with patients of all ages within the last 12
months.*Licenses, Certifications, Other: **Required* Must hold
valid unrestricted license to practice (or temporary authorization
to practice) and be eligible for an Oklahoma license. *Required*
Have unrestricted DEA license *Required* Demonstrate successful
completion of either the American Nurse Credentialing Center or
American Academy of Nurse Practitioner's certification. *Required*
Must be able to be complete a negative result on pre-employment
drug test. *Required* Must possess valid driver's license.*Physical
Requirements: **Preferred* Must be able to stand, sit and walk for
