Job Description:
The Operating Room Nurse is responsible for assisting surgeons
in the OR. Operating Room RNs will prepare the OR and the patient
for surgery and make certain that all medical equipment is clean
and operating correctly.ResponsibilitiesOperating Room Nurse
responsibilities include:
Monitoring the health of the patient before, during and after the
procedure.
Anticipate what the surgeons need and hand medical instruments and
supplies to them during procedures.
Preserving and tracking any items needed for lab work.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an Operating Room Registered
Nurse within the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart
Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
