Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Tulsa, OK Job Type: Full-time, On-site Role Overview: System One is partnering with one of our clients in their search for a Mechanical Design Engineer. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping innovative mechanical solutions. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise in design engineering and collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential. Key Responsibilities: Develop and refine detailed mechanical designs utilizing advanced CAD software, ensuring precision and functionality. Conduct complex analytical calculations to inform and support design decisions, enhancing product performance. Employ mechanical inspection tools to verify product specifications, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Engage in hands-on testing and validation of mechanical components within a lab environment, contributing to product reliability. Create comprehensive technical drawings and documentation, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), to facilitate clear communication of design intent. Collaborate effectively with engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders to assess design feasibility and manufacturability, driving project success. Actively participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology. Proven experience in mechanical design and analysis, demonstrating a strong track record of successful projects. Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) with a solid understanding of drafting standards and GD&T. Familiarity with mechanical inspection tools and techniques, with hands-on experience in a lab setting. Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative mindset. Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Relocation Requirements: Candidates must be able to commute to Owasso, OK or be willing to relocate before starting work.
