Responsibilities Lead quality assurance initiatives across
aerospace manufacturing and repair operations Investigate and
resolve nonconformances using structured root cause analysis and
corrective actions Oversee and maintain AS9100-compliant quality
systems, processes, and documentation Review and approve First
Article Inspections (FAI) and support PPAP documentation Monitor
supplier quality and collaborate to improve process capabilities
and compliance Track quality metrics and support internal and
external audits Interface with engineering, production, and
external stakeholders to resolve quality issues Support continuous
improvement initiatives across manufacturing and repair
environments Requirements 4 years of experience in quality
engineering (with 1 years of experience in Aerospace manufacturing)
Strong understanding of AS9100, FAI, and PPAP processes Experience
with supplier quality, audit support, and compliance tracking
Skilled in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process
documentation Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management
software Excellent communication, documentation, and
problem-solving skills Nice to Haves Bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering or related technical field Prior experience
with FAA/EASA-regulated repair stations or PMA/DER environments
Familiarity with Nadcap standards (e.g., Thermal Spray, Shot
Peening, NDT) Hands-on inspection experience and familiarity with
mechanical components and materials Knowledge of GD&T,
nonconformance tracking software, and aerospace part traceability
