Job Description:
Overview
Element has an opportunity for an Project Engineer to join our
rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the
Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine
testing assignments within the department assigned and insures
timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.
The engineer position must be proficient in a number of core
business and technical skills including but not limited to
compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and
company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Apply project leadership, mechanical engineering design and
testing, electrical controls, and hands on skills to test new
product development and product improvement initiatives
Accurate project budgeting, project delivery and technical report
writing that conform to A2LA 17025, QS-9001 requirements
Instrumentation experience measuring and recording using data
acquisition: temperature, flow, pressure, torque, load, strain
gauges, linear-position, acceleration, & angular position
Skills / Qualifications
B. S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of mechanical test or design experience
FEA experience is a plus
Previous leadership experience
Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements
