Job Description:
Da/Pro Rubber manufactures custom molded rubber and plastic
parts with locations across the country and worldwide recognized
for the quality of our components. We accomplish this through
designing and building molds to meet customer specifications and
the creation of custom machinery to process customer parts. - Our
processes include compression molding, transfer molding, injection
molding, automated inspection, leak testing, cryogenic de-flashing,
and myriad other processes. -Da/Pro seeks a person to fulfill a
critical role on our team as a Mold Design Engineer to further our
capabilities in meeting our customers' needs. -Primary
Responsibilities--- - - - - - - - - - Mold process verification for
multiple thermoset rubber processes--- - - - - - - - - - Mold
Design--- - - - - - - - - - Process documentation--- - - - - - - -
- - Mold design approval--- - - - - - - - - - Corrective
Action/Preventive Action support--- - - - - - - - - - Interaction
with Customers--- - - - - - - - - - Production Support--- - - - - -
- - - - Lean Implementation, support, and planning--- - - - - - - -
- - Quality support, including approving process changes and
customer drawing changes--- - - - - - - - - - Project Management---
- - - - - - - - - Fixturing and support equipment design and
implementation -Position Requirements--- - - - - - - - - - Prefer
an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related technical field---
- - - - - - - - - Understanding of relevant drafting and
documentation standards--- - - - - - - - - - Basic understanding of
steel and heat treatment --- - - - - - - - - - Understanding of
mold plating--- - - - - - - - - - Experience with SolidWorks--- - -
- - - - - - - Precision machine shop experience preferred (working
in tolerances of +/- 0.001" or tighter)--- - - - - - - - - - Prefer
three years of Compression and Transfer mold design or Thermoset
Injection mold design--- - - - - - - - - - Must be a hands-on
problem solver -Salary is commensurate with experience and
