Mechanical Engineering segment of military simulator
design/development and is largely project oriented.
Task assignments may transcend several projects/programs
simultaneously.
Design responsibilities include creating structural frames,
interface panels, packaging rackmount equipment and integrating
COTS components using CAD tools.
The position will work closely with senior level mechanical
engineers.
Generates technical documentation describing designs.
Provide mechanical design and development support on a variety of
simulator programs
Coordination of design activities with fellow mechanical team
members, electrical engineering counterpart, and systems
engineering to ensure that designs meet program requirements
Perform and document mechanical load analysis
