The portfolio is a long-term holder of its investments/assets and plans to grow both organically and through acquisitions into the foreseeable future. Summary The Engineer works other engineers and manufacturing to provide engineering design and documents for manufacturing and certification purposes. Primary Responsibilities Lead by example with a _Safety First_ mindset in every task Provide design and drafting for mechanical design layout for new and revised products utilizing a variety of design software packages Create detailed drawings from sketches, outside design layouts Create component specifications as required Respond to daily requests for drawings/diagrams, documents, presentations, and reports Conduct mechanical inspections as needed using applicable tools, machines, visual, etc. Must perform all work in accordance with all safety procedures Regular attendance is essential Creating certification documentation and interfacing with outside PE firms and various certification entities. Other duties and responsibilities as required Education, Experience & Qualifications Minimumo Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineeringo 3+ years' experience as an Engineer doing design and CAD Preferredo 2+ years of experience in SolidWorks and AutoCADo 2+ years of Codeware Compress Skills & Characteristics Working knowledge of PC's and web hosted applications Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills Self-motivated, flexible, and a team player Ability to learn quickly and work independently Competency Statements Accountability & Dependability - Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with little oversight.
