Your challenge!Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Support - Technical Professional is tasked with carrying out complex technical projects in their area of expertise. In addition, you will master and use your technical expertise in project preparation, specifically with respect to technical standards and benchmarks in your field. You will also provide your colleagues with advice within the scope of your expertise when assignments are made. The expectation is the candidate will be a self-directed individual, and as such needs a wide array of leadership, functional / technical and organizational skills. This position functions as an internal consultant, and is expected to develop projects and produce improvement in operations ranging from stockprep, tissue production, converting operations and packaging. The duties range widely between--safety leadership, troubleshooting, optimization, teaching, deliberate improvement projects, capital projects, process audits, strategic studies, and mentoring.
