A Telehealth Sign Language Interpreter position is available in Tulsa, OK, supporting educational settings through remote interpretation services. This 1099 contract role requires expertise in American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation within school environments, facilitating clear communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and educators via telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality sign language interpretation for virtual educational sessions, ensuring accurate and effective communication. Collaborate with educational professionals to accommodate students' individual communication needs remotely. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards related to interpretation and educational information. Utilize telehealth technology proficiently to deliver seamless interpreter services. Document interpretation sessions as required and participate in ongoing professional development. Desired Qualifications: Proficient in American Sign Language and experienced in educational interpreting. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote communication tools.
