Job Description Job Description We are looking for a
detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Fayetteville,
Arkansas. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a
structured environment and enjoys working independently while
ensuring accuracy in financial processes. As this is a long-term
contract opportunity, you will play a key role in maintaining and
supporting the organization's accounting operations.
Responsibilities: • Record financial transactions accurately and
maintain organized documentation. • Assist in the preparation of
routine and special financial reports. • Conduct account
reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial statements. •
Process payments and manage accounts payable and receivable. •
Support payroll operations by handling relevant records and
calculations. • Create financial summaries and monitor budgetary
spending. • Compile necessary documentation for audits and
compliance reviews. • Adhere to established financial policies and
procedures to maintain consistency. • Assist with corporate tax
filings, including sales tax and corporate tax returns. • Prepare
and post journal entries to the general ledger.• Bachelor's degree
in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field is preferred. •
Prior experience in financial recordkeeping or accounting is
advantageous. • Proficiency in spreadsheet tools and accounting
software. • Familiarity with general accounting principles and
standards. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration and reporting. •
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. •
Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
