is pivotal in overseeing the application and monitoring of
governance policies and procedures within our business lines. In
this capacity, you will ensure our operations align seamlessly with
the overarching strategic objectives of the organization. Your
duties extend to refining governance policies and the execution of
risk management activities, ensuring that we operate within a
well-defined framework. Working within the Technology Portfolio
Management Office and engaging with various teams, you will work to
guarantee compliance with both internal benchmarks and external
regulations. As a senior group member, you are tasked with
mentoring and providing direction to colleagues, fostering a
uniform approach to governance. Your role emphasizes building
robust relationships with internal departments and promoting the
integration of rigorous governance practices into our routine
functions. Your expertise and leadership are crucial as you
contribute significantly to enhancing compliance and governance

Your Responsibilities on the Team Establish and implement
governance frameworks, standards, and guidelines for IT projects
and business operations. Monitor and oversee adherence to
governance policies, ensuring seamless alignment with the company’s
strategic objectives. Regularly update and refine governance
policies in response to evolving organizational needs and external
regulations. Assist in leading internal compliance audits and
assessments to ensure operational models align with governance
policies. Track and report on compliance metrics, identifying areas
for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Proactively
identify potential risks across various business lines and develop
mitigation strategies. Conduct detailed risk assessments,
presenting findings and recommendations to leadership. Collaborate
with other risk management professionals to establish and enforce
best practices across the enterprise. Engage with multiple teams
and departments to ensure the cohesive application of governance
practices. Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops to
promote understanding and adoption of governance standards.
Requirements Bachelor’s and 3-5 years experience in a program
management or PMO function, or 4-7 years experience. CAPM, SAFe, or
PMP certifications preferred but not required. Enterprise-level
project/program management or PMO experience paired with a detailed
understanding of modern project management processes and standards.
Experience with defining and enacting governance models within a
project management context. Experience in risk assessment and
mitigation. Strong analytic skills, able to pull insights from
varied data sources for continuous improvement efforts. Ability to
communicate and drive new/unfamiliar processes with groups of
product and delivery teams. Able to facilitate cross-team
collaboration at manager/director levels. A customer service
orientation with strong relationship-building skillsets and an
understanding of how to leverage emotional intelligence in the
workplace. Additional Requirements Guide, coach, and mentor junior
team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning. Offer
strategic direction in meetings, steering committee sessions, and
other collaborative platforms. Represent the governance team in
executive discussions, providing expert advice and direction.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders,
ensuring governance practices align with departmental objectives.
Liaise with external partners, vendors, and auditors to represent
the company’s governance initiatives. Stay updated on industry
trends and best governance practices, introducing innovations and
updates as relevant. Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the
Sr. Governance Analyst to have the ability to operate computer
equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and
carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary. This description
